I have renault megane convertible 2000 and recently suffered from leaking roof wet floor issue.

Refill the the reservoir halfords do the hydrolic fluid for them then you need to re set the roof mecanism after opening and closeing. Can anyone suggest the next step. When i was closing the roof the other day i foolishly tried to close the drivers side window at the same time. I tried to open the roof off the switch but nothing happened.

Just had the same problem with mine here s what the problem was the hydrolic fluid had gone bellow the min level indicator because of a slight leak to the ram the reservoir is located in the back n s boot. When i try and open the roof the boot starts to open on one side only offside the other side of the boot trys to open so the hydraulic ram is working but the release catch in the boot does not release. The message roof mechanism fault displays. I have no lights on the dash either.
